Cocktail hour in Italy should taste like Italy, too.

Following Téa and Greg’s ceremony at Villa Grabau, guests moved into an afternoon of Aperol Spritzes, Italian bites and prosciutto sliced fresh to order by , with the gardens of the villa setting the scene.

I wish more American couples knew that you don’t need to have visited Italy before deciding to get married here. 🇮🇹

Because sometimes the hardest part of choosing a destination wedding isn’t choosing the destination. It’s giving yourself permission to make the decision.

Will our guests actually come? Are we asking too much of people? Will our families understand why we want to do this? Is planning a wedding in another country going to be overwhelming? Should we just choose somewhere closer to home because it would be easier for everyone else?

The kind of ceremony that makes the decision to get married in Italy so, so worth it!

Téa and Greg exchanged vows in the gardens of Villa Grabau. The parasols and fans? Obsessed! They made a warm Italian afternoon more comfortable for guests while becoming part of the visual story of the ceremony itself.

It’s one of the things we love about planning destination weddings in Italy: creating an experience that considers how the day will actually feel for everyone there, while making the most of a setting you simply couldn’t recreate anywhere else.
