One of our favorite things about getting married at a Tuscan estate is that the day never has to fragment into disconnected pieces. The ceremony happens outside, portraits move through the grounds, and then dinner is served in the garden. Because of that, everything has a coherence to it that guests feel even if they could not explain exactly why.

This is the same property at two different points in the same day. The gravel, the trees, the villa at the edge of the frame, all of it present for the first kiss and still present a few hours later when the long table is set and dinner is about to begin.

It is one of the reasons we love planning weddings in Italy, and one of the first things we talk about with couples who are still figuring out what kind of day they actually want.

If that is the kind of day you are trying to build, send us a DM or visit the link in bio to start the conversation.

This is how you end a wedding night in Italy!

Emily and Travis came to us from Dallas, Texas with a vision for getting married in Florence, and what started as a venue scouting engagement grew into a full planning partnership. It became clear early on that this was a wedding that could benefit from the full Gallorini Giorgi experience and we are so glad we got to be their team on the ground.

From coordinating vendors and logistics to being there for every detail of the day, it was an honor to bring their vision to life at Villa Corsini. And ending the night with fireworks over the garden while they cut their cake? That's the kind of moment that reminds us exactly why we do this work.

If you're planning a destination wedding in Italy and want a team that will be with you every step of the way, send us a DM or visit the link in bio to start the conversation.

How do we explain an Italian aperitivo to someone who has never experienced one before?!

Picture this: Emily and Travis had just said their vows at St. James Episcopal Church, and their guests arrived at Villa Corsini to a formal Italian garden overlooking the Tuscan hills. Lemon trees in terracotta pots, a string quartet playing in the courtyard, and a table stretching the full length of the garden loaded with prosciutto, local cheeses, fresh tomatoes, crusty bread, and Aperol spritzes in hand.

Just the Italian countryside, good food, good wine, and the kind of afternoon that makes your guests feel like they've been dropped into a different world entirely.

That is an Italian aperitivo. And it is one of our favorite parts of planning a wedding in Italy.

You deserve a walk down the aisle like this!

Before the reception at Villa Corsini, Emily and Travis exchanged vows at St. James Episcopal Church in Florence. The Renaissance Revival architecture is striking on its own, but the floral installations brought warmth and intention to the space, setting the tone for what was to come.

Lush arrangements of blush roses, peonies, and lavender delphinium framed the altar, letting the stained glass and stone do what they do best while adding a softness that carried through to the reception.

This is what it looks like when ceremony and reception design are planned together from the start. If you're dreaming of getting married in Italy, send us a DM or visit the link in bio to start the conversation.

Congratulations, Emily and Travis!

Married at Villa Corsini this spring, with all of Florence spread out below them, this was a wedding designed to be as extraordinary as the setting it was built around.

Some of our favorite design elements of their celebration include oversized floral urns flanking the church entrance, a candlelit reception hall with frescoed walls and iron candelabras, gold-rimmed chargers and lush garden roses trailing across every table. Nothing here was accidental. Everything was designed with Emily and Travis in mind.

That's what it looks like when planning and design work together from the very beginning.

The long table gets a lot of attention. And it deserves it!

But there is something about the combination of a long head table flanked by round tables that changes the entire feel of a reception. The long table anchors the space, gives it direction, creates that classic Italian dinner party energy. The round tables soften it. They invite conversation, pull people together, make a large group feel intimate in a way that rows of tables never quite manage.

From above, the layout becomes its own kind of design element. The geometry of it, set against a manicured Tuscan lawn with the hills rolling out behind the balustrade, is the kind of thing that stops people mid-scroll and makes them forget what they were looking for.

This is the part of wedding design that does not always get talked about. Not just what the tables look like up close, but how the entire space is laid out, and how guests move through it. That is what we think about, so you don't have to!

Every decision has a reason. That is what full service planning and design looks like with Gallorini & Giorgi Events!

There is a version of a destination wedding that is stressful from start to finish. Vendors who do not communicate, logistics that fall apart, a couple who spends the morning of their wedding putting out fires instead of getting ready.

And then there is a wedding in Italy planned by people who have been doing this for years, in a country they know the way you know your own neighborhood.

Gallorini Giorgi Events works with destination couples from around the world, most of them planning a wedding in a country they have never planned an event in before. We handle the region, the venue, the vendors, the design, and every detail in between, so that on the day itself, the only thing you have to do is show up.

That is what planning a wedding in Italy is supposed to feel like!

Our final stop on Ali and Michael's wedding at Villa La Selva, and it's the part where the night really begins!

The dress came off, the mini went on. The chef hats came out. And somewhere between the cake, the champagne, and the wine cellar glowing red, the wedding became a party.

This is what we mean when we say a wedding in Italy is an experience and not just an event. The ceremony is designed. The dinner is designed. And then the evening has a life of its own, and the best thing a planner can do is make sure the couple has the energy, the space, and the freedom to actually enjoy it.

Ali and Michael did not miss a single moment of their night. That is everything we want for every couple we work with.

Thank you, Ali and Michael, for trusting us with your wedding day. It was the perfect way to open the 2026 season. 🤍

From above, it looks like a painting, doesn't it?!

Long tables tucked against a centuries-old stone villa, string lights strung overhead, the Chianti hills stretching out behind it all as the evening light starts to drop. Sixty, seventy people gathered in a courtyard that has seen hundreds of years of history, adding one more night to it.

And then you move closer...

The lavender in terracotta pots at each place setting. The local craft beer on tap against the stone wall. Two people standing at the head of the table, arms around each other, taking in a room full of everyone they love. The easy, unhurried energy of a group of people who have nowhere else to be and know it.

This is the welcome dinner. And for destination wedding couples, it is one of the most important parts of the entire weekend!

It is the moment your guests stop being tired from their flights and start being present. It is the first time everyone is in the same place, the first meal together, the first real exhale. When it is done well, it sets the tone for everything that follows.

In Italy, it has a way of becoming the night people talk about for years. In other words...a bella notte!
