Emmò Italiano events will help you improve your Italian and English while having fun with friends and meeting new people!

We are four young and passionate language instructors and event planners who want to make learning fun and accessible to everyone! Marianne, Monica e Emma sono tre giovani insegnanti di lingua italiana per stranieri a Firenze. Marcella, arrivata a Firenze dall'America nel 2018, insegna invece la sua lingua madre ormai da anni. Un giorno si sono chieste: "Perché non unire le nostre passioni e le no

stre lingue madri per organizzare degli eventi culturali e linguistici in questa bellissima città?" Ecco come è nato Emmò Italiano. Usciamo insieme dalla monotonia dell'ultimo anno imparando e sopratutto divertendoci con nuovi amici! Marianne, Monica, e Emma are three young Italian language teachers with years of experience teaching foreigners in Florence. Marcella arrived in Florence from Detroit, Michigan, in 2018 and teaches her mother tongue to Italians of all ages. Together, we love to have fun, explore the city, create art, and so much more. We asked ourselves one day, "why don't we combine our passion for language to create cultural and linguistic events in this beautiful city?!" And that is how Emmò Italiano was born! Let's leave the monotony of this past year behind us to learn and above all, have fun with new friends!

❓ WHY: as Italian teachers, we know how hard it is for students to really practice the language they're studying and to meet local people to hang out with. In our events you'll get the chance to talk with everyone in a fun and laid back environment!

🗣️ OBJECTIVE: To have fun, practice Italian and English, meet new people

🥂 THE EVENT: If you are an English speaker, you will be sitting at the table with an Italian speaker, and vice versa. Discussions will be both in Italian and English, changing partners every 10 minutes, so that you'll get to know and talk with everyone. You will meander from table to table with a fresh glass of wine or beer that will surely help break the ice. And at the end, enjoy a light and tasting aperitif!
