MUST TASTE 🍷🍝: The Scalogno di Romagna PGI (shallot) refers to the fresh or dry bulb vegetable. It has a piriform bulb with a coriaceous peel. It is violet in colour with hues of white. The product is wrapped by an external film of a different colour: ranging from coppery tones to reddish. The flavour is much stronger and more fragrant than that of an onion, and sweeter than garlic. Generally it is used as an ingredient in the preparation of sauces, ragù, stuffed foods and fillings, as well as for flavouring boiled meats, beef stews, braised beefs and roasted meats

Brisighella is a lovely village that rises on the slopes of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, in the province of Ravenna: it seems a colorful painting framed by three hills, above which rise the Rocca Manfrediana, the Torre dell’ orologio and the Santuario del Monticino. The charm of this place is certainly not a secret, so much so that it is part of the circuit of "The most beautiful villages in Italy

MUST SEE 👀: Via degli Asini, or Via del Borgo, is unique in the world: this street is located inside the pastel colored houses and is illuminated by a series of characteristic arched windows.
It was born in the fourteenth century for defensive purposes and was later used to carry the chalk of the nearby quarries using donkeys: the name comes from the latter function.

MUST TASTE 🍷🍝 : Brisighella Extra Virgin Olive Oil PDO is a very precious element for this land. It is a very refined product and has interesting qualities, like the color which is characterized by an emerald green color with golden reflections.The taste is is particularly fluid and fruity on the palate, with a slight bitter and spicy note.It is a dressing that goes well with any food and that gives an extra touch to our dishes on the table.

Faenza was born in the 2nd century BC by Roman’s population but excavations show Faenza to have had a much earlier origin. Faenza is worldwide synonymous with ceramics and it’s famous for the production of majolica (glazed pottery).

MUST SEE 👀 : Examples of ceramics of every age and origin are contained in the city’s International Museum of Ceramics (MIC). Thanks to its precious international ceramic heritage has been included in the “Monument testifying a culture of peace”

MUST TASTE 🍷🍝 : Squacquerone, The king of cheeses on Romagna's tables. Creamy and deliquescent texture, The taste is unique: sweet, with a slightly acidic and salty hint due to brine, a slight herbaceous aftertaste and a milky aroma. Try it with Piadina Romagnola IGP!
