03rd December 2017 - Sambo Italian Championship at Palatorrino Sport Hall (Roma) - Our team, Sambo Invicta, achieved a bronze medal with Roberto Terranova at -74kg, who showed a good technical level, but needs more strategical direction. Anyway, we are proud of him. Our coach Mattia confirmed for the fourth year in a row his National title and also grab the first edition of Sambo Combat Italian Championship. Two golds for him. And last but not least, coach Walter made his debut as national referee, after got his succesful course and exam. Dario Bergamaschi, at -82kg, lost his first battle against an Ukrainian origin sambist, but he will be ready for the next one. Still at -82kg, the other Invicta's sambist Alessandro Binello reached a 5th place, reductive for his level, but he payed a lack of mental preparation.
