A simple gesture, filled with profound meaning.
During Y&A’s wedding, I had the honor of witnessing one of the most touching traditions in the Chinese culture: the wedding tea ceremony.
The couple, kneeling in front of their parents, offered tea as a symbol of gratitude and respect - receiving blessings, heartfelt words and precious gifts in return. A ritual of connection, family and harmony, where each cup marks the transition from children to spouses, from past to future.
Every culture holds beautiful traditions of love and I’m always deeply moved watching them come to life.
