Why I am not driving Ferrari? 🚘
The way Italy got me fall in love with her was well-directed and uncompromising.
Long-long time ago, back in 2008, when the trees were big and the budgets allocated to the event were even bigger, I participated in organizing a partners conference in Lake Maggiore area. It was May.
⠀
When we arrived on the lake, everything was flowered. 🌺Incredible combination of a blue lake, the sun, flowering gardens and white peacocks on the Isola Bella brought me into a kind of a trance (especially after April in Moscow). Frankly speaking, I had never seen such a beauty before. And it was the first arrow of the Italian Cupid in my heart💘
⠀
A “surprise for the bests” was organized on the third day of the conference. The guests, thrilled by a plentiful breakfast with a lake view, were excited by the incredible roar of engines, coming from outside. Getting out of the hotel almost everyone stood dumb with astonishment. A fleet of Ferrari was waiting at the main parking of the hotel. Red and black. Cabriolets and not.🏎
⠀
The best representatives of Ferrari brand were inviting the best of the best to travel along the lake. It was the second arrow of the Italian Cupid in my heart (then there will be many more of these arrows)💘
⠀
I completely lost consciousness (and even now it happens to me) hearing the sound of Ferrari engines.
⠀
After driving, I don’t remember how many kilometres along the lake, the guests got out of the cars with a face full of happiness. I still have this face, when I return to Maggiore lake.
⠀
After this first memorable experience, we have realized a lot of successful Ferrari driving experience. On the regular roads and on F1 circuits (this is another super story). In Maranello, in Modena, in Florence, in Baveno, and many other places.
And I’ve never tried to drive Ferrari.
⠀
You'll ask me why? Because if I drive, I’ll be lost there! One circle, one hour, one life will not be enough for me to enjoy the moment.
And I postpone. I postpone this expectation deliberately to catch a perfect moment
⠀
I am sure, that you won’t find any online experience that will allow you to have same feeling as a 500 horses “under your ass” @ Italy
