A Vibrant Mehndi Celebration: A Fusion of Culture, Color & Joy by the Lake

Set against the picturesque poolside of the Sheraton Lake Como, Priya & Robert’s Mehndi celebration was a joyful explosion of color, culture, and playful elegance—a celebration worthy of WedLuxe’s spotlight. From the moment guests arrived, they were transported into a whimsical, Insta-worthy scene, with a vintage yellow Fiat 500 at the entrance setting the mood for fun and fabulous photo ops.

The décor was a feast for the senses, featuring vivid Indian textiles, lush lounge areas, and vibrant pops of color everywhere—from beach umbrellas to henna stations. Guests relaxed on plush poufs and sun loungers, soaking in the festive atmosphere, while the Haldi ceremony unfolded in the garden with an intimate and traditional setup, paying homage to Priya’s cultural roots.

Food played a starring role, blending the best of Italian flavors with an authentic Indian corner, offering specialties from the bride’s region—an elegant nod to her heritage. Signature cocktails flowed from open bars, keeping the party energy high, leading into an evening of Bollywood dance performances, high-energy DJ sets, and unforgettable entertainment.

A Breathtaking Fusion of Cultures at Lake Como: Priya & Robert’s Spectacular Wedding Celebration! Day 1 The Catholic ceremony on August 19th was a vision of elegance and romance, with an iron gazebo draped in cascading white roses framing the couple as they exchanged vows. A sweet and playful moment set the tone for the day, as the couple’s nieces—serving as ring bearers—arrived in an adorable electronic Mercedes, eliciting smiles and happy tears alike. The reception transformed the villa’s gardens into a magical setting under twinkling fairy lights and candlelit pathways, creating an atmosphere of pure enchantment. A fusion menu of Indian, Egyptian, and Italian cuisine paid homage to the couple’s diverse heritage, complemented by sh**ha corners for an added exotic flair.
