The frescoes were already there.
The high ceilings, the centuries of history, the character of the room — all part of the setting.

Then came the tables.

White linen, walnut Thonet chairs, silver details and flowers spilling across the tables in shades of ivory, white and green. At the end of the room, a blush drape quietly picked up the tones of the frescoes, almost as if it had always belonged there.

Two imperial tables gathered the families together, while round tables filled the rest of the room — creating a dinner setting that felt grand, but never distant.

And as the evening went on, the candles took over.

The flowers caught their light.
The silver began to glow.
The frescoes seemed warmer.

Perhaps that is what we love most about weddings at Castello Visconteo: you don’t have to transform a historic space to make it yours.

A touch of fuchsia — or perhaps, a little more than a touch 🩷

From the very first toast to the final slice of cake, this vibrant shade became the thread running through the entire celebration🥂

Fuchsia cocktails welcomed guests to the aperitivo, while lush peonies brought the colour into the floral arrangements. Place names, stationery and table details followed the same palette, creating little moments of colour to discover throughout the reception.

Even the dishes joined in — with carefully designed details that brought a playful touch of fuchsia to the table.

And then there was the cake: bold, unexpected and completely personal, created to reflect the couple’s vision down to the smallest detail.

We love when a colour becomes more than just a choice. When it moves from flowers to stationery, from cocktails to the table, creating a visual language that tells the story of the day.

As daylight begins to fade, the room takes on a new warmth. Modern, transparent details — glass chairs, crystal-clear chargers and delicate glassware — create a light, contemporary setting against the centuries-old frescoes of the castle.

At the centre of each table, floral silver candelabras bring together autumnal shades of burgundy, blush and ivory, echoing the colours of the frescoes and creating a dialogue between past and present.

And then, as evening falls, the candles are lit.

The atmosphere changes completely: the room glows, the colours deepen, and every detail feels a little more intimate. 🕯️

As they make their way down into the ancient cellars, the atmosphere slowly unfolds: soft pink light meets the raw stone walls, revealing a table waiting beneath the warm glow of lanterns.

Rustic wood, Provençal chairs, lanterns and clusters of grapes set the scene, while even the smallest details — like place cards inspired by a simple w**e stain — echo the theme of the evening.

September begins with a little throwback to Amanda & Steeven’s beautiful celebration at the end of July — a wedding that brought the feeling of a blooming meadow into the timeless magnificence of the Castle’s frescoed vaults 🌿🌸

An enchanting contrast between the delicate beauty of a flower-filled setting and the grandeur of centuries-old painted ceilings, creating an atmosphere that felt both romantic and unforgettable.

And while we look back at these summer memories, the second part of our season is already well underway. New celebrations, new stories, and many beautiful moments to come — we’re ready for all that awaits 💜

Deep blue tablescapes, statement floral arrangements, candlelight and an abundant buffet prepared by our Chef came together to create an experience that was as elegant as it was welcoming. ✨

Delicate tuna sashimi with exotic fruit, beef carpaccio, vitello tonnato, refreshing gazpacho, handcrafted savory bites and elegant seafood creations offered guests a journey through fresh seasonal flavors, each prepared throughout the evening with the utmost attention to detail.
