2 weeks tomorrow, yay 🥰🥳

We've got some tips for you:

-if you plan to drive in/to Italy, make sure to have your driving licence with you at all times (it is illegal to drive without it and if you get pulled over by the police, and you don't have your driving licence to show them, they'll fine you!)

-if you need to put petrol in the car, sometimes you can find a person at the petrol station that does it for you. When you do it yourself, and pay by card, they may hold 100€ for the transaction, even though you might have spent less. The money will be back into your account soon! (It's happened to us before, we didn't want anyone to worry about it)

-we would suggest you to always have an Identification document with you - again, you should always be able to show an ID (passport or whatever) if needs be!

-Have some cash with you- just in case! Don't be surprised if you can't pay with your card/phone/watch everywhere! Most places/Touristy places (I.e. Venice) are ok with card payments but little bars/shops may not allow you to pay by card (even though they could do- Italians!! 🤌🤦‍♀️😅)

A little further from us (about 18km), but closer to Venice by bus; this lovely b&b was built entirely by my dad and his company.
5 big rooms available (some may host 4 ppl), Venetian style decor and lot of green space around.
Ugo, the owner, is going to give us a special offer if all rooms are reserved + a complimentary "special" evening of Venetian style aperitif/dinner + house wine 🍷🥖🧀🍝🍾(that's exactly what he told us when we called him a couple of weeks ago, lol).

The most recommended hotel (by us):

As the wedding won't take place in a touristy area, the options for accommodation are limited. This hotel is probably your best shot, there are plenty of rooms (if you like to be altogether), it's nice, and it's the closest one to the venue (literally 2 minutes in car). There is a nice pizzeria/restaurant next to it (Matt worked there!). Last, but not least, prices seem reasonable!
