Kaffekulturen i Italien – enligt Nonna

I Italien dricker man inte kaffe
Man dricker il caffè. Punkt.

Och nej… det är inte en halv liter latte med karamellsirap.

☕ Espresso – själva grunden. Liten. Stark. Snabb.
Dricks stående al banco. 30 sekunder. Klart.

☕ Caffè corto (ristretto) – ännu kortare. Ännu starkare.
För dig som menar allvar.

☕ Caffè lungo – lite mer vatten. Lite längre.
För den som vill sitta 45 sekunder istället för 30.

☕ Macchiato – espresso “fläckad” med lite mjölk.
Inte en dessert. Bara en touch.

☕ Macchiato caldo – med varm mjölk.
☕ Macchiato freddo – med kall mjölk.
Italienare gör skillnad. Alltid.

☕ Cappuccino – bara på morgonen. MAI dopo pranzo.
Dricker du cappuccino efter lunch? Turista. 😏

☕ Caffè latte – mjölk med kaffe.
Säger du bara “latte” får du ett glas mjölk.

☕ Latte macchiato – mer mjölk än kaffe.
Mer frukost än koffein.

☕ Caffè corretto – espresso med en skvätt grappa eller sambuca.
För dagar då livet kräver lite extra.

☕ Caffè freddo – kall espresso, ofta på sommaren.
Snabb kyla, samma respekt.

☕ Shakerato – espresso skakad med is & socker.
Som en italiensk espresso-cocktail.

☕ Caffè d’orzo – utan koffein, gjort på korn.
Nonna dricker det på kvällen.

☕ Decaffeinato – koffeinfritt, men fortfarande seriöst.

☕ Moka – gjort i den klassiska kaffekokaren på spisen.
Det är här magin händer. Hemmets doft.
Och där står hon.
Med sin moka på spisen.
Inget pappersmugg-lock.
Ingen havremjölk med vanilj.
Ingen pump med sirap.

La vendemmia — the Italian grape harvest — is one of the most beautiful times of the year. 🍇
From late August to early October, families, winemakers, and friends gather in the vineyards to handpick grapes under the autumn sun.
It’s a mix of hard work and celebration, where every bottle begins its story. Cheers to tradition, craftsmanship, and the joy of harvest!
