❯❯𝗙𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗔❮❮ Federico Chiesa
❯ OORA is the musical project of Italian artist Federico Chiesa, who shapes analog synthesis, melodic minimalism, and emotional tension into a deeply cinematic form of electronic music. His work emerges from the desire to transform vulnerability, memory, and inner fragility into slow, immersive soundscapes—compositions that evolve through harmonic depth, restraint, and physical interaction with instruments.
Before dedicating himself to electronic music, Federico was the frontman and guitarist of the stoner-rock band Mr. Bison, releasing multiple albums and performing across Italy and abroad. This background forged his relationship with live performance: a focus on presence, intensity, and the narrative arc of a concert. Over time, he moved away from distortion and towards introspection, eventually finding in OORA a language where physicality meets delicacy.
His live show is entirely hardware-based and unfolds like a single long composition—an emotional journey with a sense of cinematic slowness, as if watching an inner film unfold in real time.
Alongside his musical work, Federico is active as a video creator and educator, producing widely followed content on synthesizers, creative workflows, and contemporary music-making. His videos combine minimal aesthetics with thoughtful reflection, exploring vulnerability, artistic process, and the psychology of creation.
Today, OORA’s focus has shifted to immersive performances designed for clubs, festivals, and dedicated listening spaces.
OORA as a singular voice in contemporary electronic music—an artist who uses softness as strength, and slowness as a form of revelation. .
