💿 2Pac – Changes. Early 2000s. I was watching MTV and this video came on. Those sounds, the message... that was the exact moment I fell in love with hip hop.
💿 Wu-Tang Clan – Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)The one that confirmed my love. For me, this is simply the best Rap album ever made. Raw and timeless. Period. 👐
💿 The Pharcyde – Passing me by. This track in particular, Made me fall in love with sampling culture. When I found out it sampled Quincy Jones’ “Summer in the City”... my mind was blown! 🤯
💿 Common – The Light (Prod. J Dilla) Pure love in a song. That J Dilla beat is just magic, it touches your soul every single time.

Listening to T-Love - Return Of The B-Girl EP today 🎧✨I completely fell in love with her music after listening to “When You’re Older” and “Swing Malindy” from her album “Long Way Back”. This original 1998 pressing is a truly beautiful piece of art. I also just found out that they recently released the title track feat Kool Keith on a 45 RPM single for the first time. It is wonderful to see this underground masterpiece get the recognition it deserves. Taura Love we want more! ❤️
