«Non ho figli, non ho nipoti, il mio compagno non ne vuole sapere, i collaboratori non vogliono passare da dipendenti a imprenditori. Insomma, questo passaggio generazionale in famiglia è impossibile». E allora Simona Giovannetti, architetto con la passione del design e della moda, 62 anni, cerca un erede che più dei capitali sia dotato di entusiasmo e tanta voglia di fare. Quelli che aveva lei 15 anni fa quando la lanciato Dampaì, un brand di borse e accessori, base all’Elba con tre negozi diretti, un laboratorio di pelletteria a Pisa e una distribuzione nazionale ora integrata con lo shopping online.
E per farlo ha messo un annuncio sul giornale.

In short, this generational handover within the family is impossible.’ So Simona Giovannetti, a 62-year-old architect with a passion for design and fashion, is looking for a successor who, rather than capital, possesses enthusiasm and a strong drive to get things done. The very qualities she herself possessed 15 years ago when she launched DAMPAÌ, a brand of handbags and accessories based on Elba with three company-owned shops, a leather workshop in Pisa and a national distribution network now complemented by an online shop.
