About Gauri Taai
The most prestigious "swara-bhaskar" puraskaar instituted in memory of late pandit Bhimsen Joshi for the year 2012-13 was awarded to Smt. Gauri Pathare by the Surashri Pratisthan, Pune. Gauri was also awarded the equally prestigious Aditya V.Birla "Kala kiran" national award for the year 2013.
Her maiden releases namely, Morning Melodies, Evening melodies and subsequent outstanding releases like Emotions, Soothing melodies, Sangeetika have created a niche for Gauri in the Indian music industry.
Her overseas performances include multiple tours of France (Paris), Australia (Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne), USA (New York, New Jersey, San Jose, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco) and Singapore.
She has also conducted numerous classical music workshops at these places and has had performances broadcast live on Australia Radio.
