A brainless stand-up comedian made an ignorant comment on Konkani people in Maharashtra, not even knowing that the actual Konkan region stretches from Gujarat to Goa, with Mumbai itself being a part of it. It’s baffling how some people come to Mumbai, calling themselves bhais, shers, and dons, without any respect for the city’s roots. The native Agri Koli communities have always upheld the rich culture of this land and welcomed everyone with open arms.
