Apni Party District Vice President Srinagar and Constituency Incharge Central Shalteng Zaffar Habib Dar, Organizes Sabeel at Khushipora, HMT
Srinagar: In observance of the holy month of Muharram, Apni Party District Vice President Srinagar and Constituency Incharge Central Shalteng Zaffar Habib Dar organized a Sabeel at Khushipora, HMT, on the 14th of Muharram. This initiative was undertaken to honor the values of sacrifice, compassion, and humanitarian service associated with this significant period.
The Sabeel, a traditional charitable station, provided refreshments, including water and beverages, to the local community and commuters. The event was held in a spirit of solemnity, reflecting the historical and moral significance of the days following the event of Karbala.
In his address during the proceedings, Dar emphasized the importance of upholding the principles of truth, justice, and selfless service.
"The act of organizing this Sabeel is a tribute to the enduring legacy of Imam Hussain (AS), whose life serves as a beacon for justice and empathy. It is our responsibility to embody these values by serving our fellow citizens and fostering an environment of harmony and brotherhood within our society," reads a statement.
Dar further commended the local volunteers whose diligent efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the event. He reaffirmed the Apni Party’s commitment to grassroots engagement and its dedication to initiatives that promote communal solidarity and public welfare.
