✨ A Legacy Reimagined ✨
Before it became Moghal Mahal, this beautiful estate was a bungalow from pre-independence times, once home to a prominent Kashmiri businessman. Over the years, it even served as the head office of the Archaeological Survey of India - a building that has truly lived many lives.
In 2018, it began a new journey as a banquet space, and by 2022, the old bungalow was lovingly restored into a Heritage Hotel. Its architecture still reflects British-era villas, while the interiors are deeply Kashmiri - khatamband ceilings, carved wood paneling, and a warmth that feels like home.
And while many think it’s Mughal Mahal, it’s not.
It’s Moghal Mahal - named after our beloved grandmother, Moghal Ded, whose grace continues to inspire everything we do.
