Open mic by noon, pure electric jam by sundown. ⚡️

The post-mic jam session at Pink Petals, HPU on the 23rd of September was nothing short of legendary. The faculty, the students, and the whole Spotlight family vibing as one, just pure, unadulterated live music under the open sky. 🫶🏻

Big shoutout to our lineup for setting the vibe on fire:

✨ Aman Premi

✨ Mohit

✨ The Harmonics Band (Prince, Raj & Yogesh) 🎸

Grateful for evenings like these where music does what it does best: brings everybody together. 🎶

Thank you, HPU, for the warmth, the cheers, and that unmatched mountain energy. 🏔️✨

Stories have a way of finding a home when people gather with an open heart. 🫀

To celebrate Tourism Week, The Spotlight teamed up with ITHM, Himachal Pradesh University for a special edition open mic: Safarnama. 💫

Between spoken word, acoustic sets, spontaneous laughter, and interactive games, Wednesday turned into a quiet reminder of why we build these spaces. It was an honor to felicitate our Chief Guest, Dr. Chander Mohan, and Dr. Nitin Vyas (Director, ITHM, HPU), whose encouragement means the world to independent campus and community art. 🎨

To every performer who stepped onto the stage, every student who answered a fun prompt, and everyone who stayed to listen, thank you for giving your stories to Safarnama. 🌸

Until the next stage. ✨

A room full of strangers walking in, and walking out feeling a little less alone in what they feel. 🫂

September 6th at Spotlight was loud, tender, wildly fun, and packed to the brim. Between blindfolded chaos, shared chocolates, fun games, human connections and verses that made the whole cafe go quiet, we were reminded why we do this. 🌻

Community isn’t built on grand gestures; it’s built in little corners where people feel safe enough to speak. 💛

Immense gratitude to Triptin cafe for being the warmest venue partners, and Vivo Himachal for backing raw art and expression with us. 💫

If you look closely, you’ll see shy smiles slowly giving way to full-throated choruses, strangers holding rhythm with each other, and an afternoon that refused to be ordinary. It’s moments like these that stick to your ribs. 🦋

Grateful to everyone at HPU who paused their walk, found the beat, and shared their breath with us. 💙

Until next time‼️

Evidence that magic doesn't always need velvet curtains, just a chilly patch of ground at Pink Petals and a handful of rogue melodies. 🎶

The Harmonics Band took the stage (or rather, the open air), and honestly? Prince, Raj, and Yogesh basically turned our scattered thoughts into harmony. Off-key humming, tap-dancing boots, and that warm, fuzzy Spotlight wavelength that makes you forget how cold mountain evenings actually get. 💫

What a wild, beautiful evening to have ears. 🌸📻🪕

On the 23rd, the hills echoed a little louder. 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 took over the HPU campus, strings chiming under the pine shadows, and suddenly a crowd of strangers became one singular voice shouting every lyric back to us. 🎶🙌🏻

This is what Spotlight was always meant to feel like....raw, electric, freeing and completely unfiltered. Thank you HPU for matching every beat with pure magic. 🎸🍃🩰

Drop a 🤍 if you paused your day to join our musical jam session at the Pink Petals, HPU campus and don't forget to spot yourself. 💫
