This year Festival de Danza is proud to support the 7th Omkar Music Trust festival bringing in the finest dancers of bangalore Rekha Raju & Rekha Satish with their vibrant troupes to enthrall the audiences ,as an artist & an art promoter we bring together the most unique presentation of music ,dance ,painting exhibition & knowledge of the maestros & full house entertainment…all under one roof ..a carnival ….that has never witnessed before …

Over the years , my journey as a public/ motivational speaker on various platforms adressing various crowds from kindergarden kids, to underpriviledged kids in a different community, to drs& nurses ..,international schools as an advocate of classical dance & music .. in your course, in your hobby , in your life…. Today we need more audience than we need artists, we need more funds to promote art,we need to make it for the masses & not just classes.

A series of concerts comes to a lovely conclusion, kathak is such a versatile form that i could jam with flamenco artists from spain , arabic music, jazz music, flamemco music… i thank pt Iman Das to encourage me to take up the challenge of performing with world music, international dance forms, different instruments… this enriches one as an artist, opens creative boundaries & makes ys respect other artforms… Kathak Snigdha Omkar Music Trust
