What a night! Metal Militia Vol. 3 was absolutely off the charts. 🤘

A massive thank you to every single metalhead who came out and supported the scene. The metal community is alive, strong, and growing louder every day. It was incredible to see so many from the younger generation at the show, some even rocking out alongside their guardians. That kind of passion and respect for heavy metal means everything to the scene. And of course, a huge respect to the diehard fans who have been with us since day one and never miss a show. Cheers to you all. 🍻

Hats off to Filthy Hounds, Annihilation X, and Scoundrel-16 for delivering an absolute onslaught on stage. These young thrashers are bringing a new wave of energy and are ready to set the world ablaze with their music. Watch out! 👊

And lastly, Eternal Scorn for always keeping it thrash, heavy, and uncompromising, giving the scene exactly what it needs: a lethal dose of toxic attack. 🤘

The third band on the bill is a newly formed thrash metal outfit ready to annihilate the metal scene. Please welcome ANNIHILATION X 🤘

Bio:
Annihilation X is a four-piece thrash metal band from Shillong, formed in January 2026. The band was brought together by a shared love for fast riffs, aggressive energy, and the raw spirit of classic thrash metal.

Taking inspiration from bands like Slayer, Exodus, and Death Angel. Annihilation X focuses on tight guitar work, hard-hitting drums, and high-energy performances that capture the intensity of old-school thrash

The band made their debut appearance at Shillong Open Air 2026, competing in the Road to Wacken Metal Battle India. The band secured the 1st Runner-Up position in the Shillong Zone, marking a strong entry into the thrash metal scene and showcasing their raw potential. Annihilation X is now gearing up to unleash their upcoming single, set to be released very soon.

Bio:
Scoundrel-16 is a Thrash Metal band formed in 2024. The band consists of 3 members:

Tom (Vocalist/Guitarist)

Bawan (Drummer)

Hiem (Bassist)

The band's influences came from Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Kreator, Motorhead, Slayer, Exodus, etc.

The band focuses on bone crushing heavy riffs, raw vocals, loud bass attacks, and heavy drum playing.

Since their inception, the band has played major metal shows such as Scorn Fest, Hessian Aggresion, and College Fest

Now, the band is ready to unleash absolute havoc once again.
