Every night I sleep dissatisfied and shattered:
Tension of not working up to the mark
Tension of not talking to my loved ones
Tension of not having enjoyed the day
Tension of not taking care of my health
Tension of not trying something new
Tension of not achieving any milestone
Tension of working so hard but not getting results
And when every morning I wake up
I wake up with a disturbed mind and hear two voices:
One says, “Go back and sleep”
Otherwise, you’ll have to face another terrific day
Why worry, just take everything lightly
Why run after things, just take some rest
Another says, “Wake up”
As you have so many responsibilities to fulfil
As you’ve another day to start something new
As you’ve another day to raise one more steps towards achieving goals
As you’ve another day to rise and fulfil people’s lives with smiles
As you’ve another day to do something impactful for the humanity
As you’ve another day to make this birth meaningful
As you’ve another day to be a successful experiment of God
Now, it’s upon me which Voice do I follow
Either take rest or conquer the battle
Either apply efforts or run away from them
Either act like a loser or try to be a winner.
God gave us life as an opportunity and it’s upon us
How do we lead ourselves as he is counting every single effort?
He’s keeping eyes on us and one day he’ll make us believe
That he has all the counts of our deeds, efforts, bounds and so on.
To win the battle you’ll have to fight with a Tension Free smile and lose all your sleep.
