समत्वं योग उच्यते ।

इसे हम एक दृष्टांत से समझेंगे।
एक गुलाब लीजिये ,अच्छा खिला हुआ , और उसे पहले शक्कर के ढेर पर रखिये।
अब उठा कर सुन्घिये। किसकी सुगंध आएगी ? चासनी नहीं , गुलाब की ही !!
अब उसे उठा कर गोबर पर रख दीजिये। अब फिर उठा कर सुन्घिये।
अब किसकी सुगंध आएगी ?? फिर गुलाबकी खुदकी ही !!
तात्पर्य यह है की गुलाब को आप कही भी उठा कर रखो, और सूंघो ,
तब भी खुशबू गुलाब की ही आएगी !!
ठीक वैसे ही , आप कैसी भी परिस्तिथि से घिरे हुए हो ,
सुख में हो या दुःख में हो ,
कैसे भी परिस्तिथि में सम रहो।
अर्थात ख़ुशी में बहुत ज्यादा खुश न हो जाओ , ख़ुशी से आसक्त न हो जाओ ,
और दुःख में भी दुखी मत हो जाओ ,
बस अपने नित्य स्वरुप में अचल रहो ,
मुस्कुराते रहो !!
बस इसीको को श्री कृष्ण ने गीताजी में “समत्वं योग उच्च्यते” कहा है !!!
अब आप श्री कृष्ण को ही देख लो ,
कालिया नाग के ऊपर है , मुस्कुरा रहे है ,
कालयवन के युद्ध से रण छोड़ कर भाग रहे है तब भी मुस्कुरा रहे है ,
कंस के भव्य मल्ल मारने आ रहे है , तब भी मुस्कुरा रहे है !
हर परिस्तिथि में मुस्कुरा रहे है ,बासुरी बजा रहे है !

बस यही है "समत्वं योग उच्यते" !!
