On April 20th, taking the stage will be Pune's own ChristBearers.
Founding members Alex Fernandes and his brother Arthur Fernandes have been pursuing their calling to gospel music for more than 15 years now. The band was formed in 2010 with other committed and talented youth with the same vision and calling. They perform covers as well as original compositions and their music has been instrumental in impacting many lives.
Band members also include Chris Fonceca from the award-winning band Strange Brew, who also plays a key role for the Gary Lawyer band that has toured across India in recent years and Savio Sebastian from the rock band Silver.

Headlining on April 20th is Soul Sonic from Bangalore. This newly formed band features Naveen Thomas on guitars and Ranjith Abraham on lead vocals.
Naveen has been a guitarist for a number of bands like Galeej Gurus, Junkyard Groove, Molotov Cocktail and Parousia and is endorsed by Gibson guitars and T.C Electronics. Ranjith sang with Parousia and also does vocals for Altar Coal and Slain. The band also features Jonathan, Joe and Naresh, from ‘SLAIN,’ winners of the Hornbill and Strawberry Fields festivals. They can be counted on to bring nothing short of a rousing performance.

Headlining on April 19th is Amit Kamble & AaghaaZ, a band that is well known among the Christian community nationwide and beyond, featuring worship leader and led vocalist Amit Kamble.
The heart of AaghaaZ is to create music that reveals the truth of who Jesus is - leading people into worship with their style that is a mix of contemporary Christian music and mid-stream rock. The band was formed in the year 2010, fronted by Pastor, worship leader and teacher Amit Kamble and was named "AaghaaZ"(the beginning).
In the Year 2005 Amit recorded his first release entitled "Hum Tujhme", since then he has recorded two more solo albums including "Shukriya Tera" just where AaghaaZ begun... AaghaaZ Band Ministries is headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, INDIA, from where they travel across the borders sharing the love of God through their Music.
This year, they are taking a new and a fresh approach to their tours, visuals, songs and teachings while still keeping it as simple as possible.

On April 19th, taking the stage after Sayyed Badshah will be the Hope Collective.
They are a contemporary worship ministry which consists of a team of radical musicians and worshipers exclusively from Community of Hope, Mumbai, which is a vibrant Bible-based New Testament church led by Pastor Willie Soans and his team. A collective of worshippers dedicated to usher in the presence of God in this nation and around the world.
They seek to collaborate with like-minded musicians and worshipers from around the world to bring God's Glory in a powerful way.
The Hope Collective exists to ignite the hearts of young people all over this nation through music. They aspire to sing great songs and impart the values of His kingdom. April 19th will feature the young Sayyed Badshah from Mumbai, whose powerful testimony of transformation is clearly a miracle from God.
Sayyed grew up as a street kid begging for food, addicted to drugs and alcohol. With many police cases on his head and enemies who have tried to kill him, he kept running away, looking for love and care till he encountered God through the ministry of Bombay Teen Challenge. After accepting Jesus, he was transformed into a new person.
Today, he is an upcoming worship leader who is focused on reaching out to people to lead them from darkness to light.
He has recently released his first CD, titled Ummeed.

On April 19th, opening the Son Rise Music Festival will be Joshua Generation, a Gospel band from Mumbai.
With music that is appealing to the younger generation Joshua Generation has been has been well accepted by the Christian youth of Mumbai and beyond. The song “Sajda Karun” from their album ‘Sajda Karun’ is widely popular among Christians and has been performed by a host of other artistes.
On Republic Day 2014 they released “Sare Jahan Se Acha,” a patriotic song to capture the heart of this generation, cutting across caste, creed and culture. The band is also working on their second album ‘Aaye Khuda,’ and they have released their first song from that album - “Aa Bhi Ja.”
