Spotted Eagle..!! Shot @ Kabini
==========================================
We were waiting for the tiger in the jeep , and we saw this Spotted Eagle. One's forest trip does not complete without seeing these Raptors. When I saw the bird, the sky was very bright and the bird was against the sky. I had only two options to shoot the bird: (i) Silhouet, which would kill the beauty of the bird. and (ii) Overexpose the sky. I decided to over expose the sky, by using spot metering mode, and exposed for the bird, which automatically overexposes the sky. This was the basic idea of this shot. But there is something special in this shot, (ie) we were shooting the bird, and hearing the sound of our jeep the bird turned 180°and looked straight into the camera. I was fortunate enough to make my shot, as I decided my shot, and quick enough to get the right camera settings.
