I love to cook and feed people (including myself). I create the recipes you see here, my husband Dhruv helps taste-test, and together we photograph them in our kitchen. Parul’s Cooking Hub is all about the simple art of food preparation. For me, that’s turning a fresh set of ingredients into something beautiful in both flavour and appearance. e out of my nothing-special kitchen, inspired by my favourite restaurants, festivals, takeout, or just whatever is in the fridge. It’s never anything too fancy, just food that looks as good as it tastes and doesn’t require too much thinking. Your kids refuse to eat anything, your fridge is full but your brain is blank, you don’t know how to cook, you have no desire to cook, you have a big project due tomorrow, you have no help with the cooking or the planning, you can’t even get everyone seated at the table at the same time, let alone eating the same meal. These are all legit, of course, but if you’re here reading this, it probably means that somewhere in the back of your mind you feel a little bad about your eating situation. This page might just help you find solutions to these simple problems. If I ever had the chance to write something for the very last time, I think I’d write this:

“Appreciate what you have.”

Because the truth is — you never really know.
You never know which hug will be the last…
which simple “goodnight” you won’t get to say again…
which ordinary moment will turn into a memory you’d give anything to relive.

You never know when a voice will fall silent,
or when a smile you took for granted will only live in photographs.

Life doesn’t announce its endings.
