At Rambagh, Jaipur, the evening unfolded as a recreation of the essence of Johri Bazaar — vibrant, layered, and full of life.
A living tableau of performers, each adding their own rhythm, came together to create a bazaar that felt both nostalgic and cinematic.

A special mention to Samandar Khan Manganiyar and his extraordinary group of singers, whose music carries the soul of Rajasthan. Having performed for TT across shows and private gatherings, they are not just collaborators but family to both TT and Sumant Jayakrishnan.

An immersive evening where design, music, and memory met — echoing the timeless charm of Johri Bazaar. ✨

Each tent was adapted, layered, and made to feel as though it had always stood there. Above, a canopy scattered with stars. At the center of the lawn, an old tree that was never moved, only honored, its branches finding new life in the warmth of bell jar light.
When dinner came, so did Benaras. The tables dressed in rich brocade, customised to the last thread. Handmade silk tassels fell from the trees like the final word in a language only this room spoke.
The past was the inspiration. The night was the masterpiece.
