I’m happy my biggest client is leaving me.
Sounds strange, I know.
When Puneet Arora and first walked into Of10, they weren’t even looking for us. They stumbled in by mistake. A brief conversation later, I knew this was going to be something special.
They told me about Truva. An audacious hashtag startup. Starry eyed, full of conviction, the kind of founders you root for immediately. My gut said they’d figure it out.
It wasn’t always smooth. I remember late conversations with Puneet about marketing, with Monil about hiring. The quiet, grinding struggles every founder faces building something real in India. Those conversations happen naturally at Of10. That’s kind of the whole point.
We never wanted to just rent desks. We wanted to back the right people while they did the hardest work of their lives.
Today Truva raised $9 million from top tier investors. They started as a team of 2 sitting in our little cabin overlooking the hills of Powai. They are 100 people strong now. They have outgrown us completely and I could not be more proud.
This is what Of10 is for. This is why we exist.
With every ending comes a beginning.
