This Bahu Swagat was envisioned as a vibrant welcome celebration for the bride, deeply inspired by the spirit and craftsmanship of Rajasthan. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Jodhpur, we wanted the regional influence to feel strong, authentic, and immersive.
The design language was built around Leheriya fabrics — the traditional Rajasthani tie-dye craft known for its flowing patterns and joyful use of colour. Layers of bright textiles, canopies, and fabric detailing brought movement and energy into the space.
Instead of using typical Rajasthani umbrellas, we reimagined them as oversized statement installations, richly embellished with gota, tassels, and playful handcrafted details. These larger-than-life umbrellas became sculptural focal points across the venue.
To further bring the feeling of a bustling local bazaar alive, we created interactive market-style corners featuring pottery, lac bangle making, and artisanal activities that celebrated local craft traditions.
The entire event was full of colour, texture, and art — a fresh and contemporary interpretation of Rajasthan while still feeling deeply rooted in its culture and heritage.
