ACTADCD is the association of Cine & Television Art Directors and Costume Designers which is based in Mumbai and is the governing body for the art directors and costume designers working in the industry. rheaded by artists like Biren Nag, R. Handa, Sudhendu Roy, Shanti Das, N. B. Kulkarni, and Bansi Chandra Gupta. Collectively these art directors popularized art direction and made numerous innovations that paved the way for future generations of artists. More than four decades later, the ACTADCD is a growing body of art directors, production designers and costume designers who have proved their mettle both in the national and international circuit in various media. The association, as the popular saying goes, is of its people, by its people and for its people. We solely exist to help the artists grow, learn innovations and new technologies, get better at their craft. At the same time we wish to simultaneously unite artists to create a truly collaborative medium from which the whole fraternity can benefit in the long run. Our aim is to also help our fellow members in their professional rights and settle disputes, thus helping spread an ambience of bonhomie and creativity.
