We both work in event management and met at work, six years ago. We bonded over our two common passions, food and travel! After five years of courtship we got married last year and are expecting a small addition to our family next year. So yes, a babymoon is due.

With my constant traveling for work, we didn’t get the chance to go on a honeymoon. I had promised my wife the trip of a lifetime to an exotic location that would leave her speechless but have not been able to so far. It would be a great opportunity for me to fulfill that promise to her!

Barcelona is known for its architecture, food, fabulous beaches, rich cultural heritage… and the food and dancing, all need to be experienced. I would want to take her to the Montjuic Hill and the Poble Espanyol de Barcelona, the Spanish village. Montjuic Castle with its scenic views would be the perfect spot for some baby-bump pictures! The Spanish Village has a host of cafes and restaurants for a romantic meal where we can sample various local foods and enjoy the local cuisine. The Flamenco Show at the village is very popular would be the perfect to round off the trip.
