Our team at Varun Jain Photography has captured some of the craziest birthday celebrations.

To capture the best out of kids, we have to lower our mental age and crank up our energy to match that of the kids.

Just getting a decent shot means running around like a kid, but to get an even crazier moment means leveling up with them, making them giggle & laugh, jump and just go crazy.

It's like going back in time. The knees hurt, but oh man, the joy of being a kid again!

We have captured events across Mumbai, predominantly, Powai, Juhu, Worli and South Mumbai.

Lately we've been having so much fun shooting & editing videos for our clients.

During the shoot, we always wonder how the final product will pan out, cause unlike feature films which have a dedicated script and a flow to a story, our events are not planned or scripted according to our needs, so we are at the mercy of the client, the content we shoot and how good we do it. But that’s what keeps us excited & curious for the editing of the video.

During the edit, we are looking forward to watch how we can display a story telling aspect in the end product through our creative skills, watching hours of footage, making notes, trying different permutation-combinations and listening to our gut feeling to what feels right.

Here's a short video we made for one of our favorite corporate client, Bloomingdale Public Relations.

It was basically their AGM with couple of emotional & hard hitting speeches and a very insightful panel discussion.

The entire video was ;

- shot on a basic hd camera (not a high end mirrorless 4k camera)
-shot on a tripod so no fun dynamic movements and

that's where it became a challenge for us during the edit, as to how to deliver a fun & interesting video purely by finding content that connects with the viewer.

We have captured several Home Decor & Interiors projects but this was our first ever Architecture project capturing a whole new Building (re-development project)

It was also Developers first such project and their brief was simple, showcasing the building and a 2bhk empty flat as their portfolio for future such projects.

Recently I got a chance to capture a book launch event for Amazon’s best selling Author, and a TED X speaker, Nitika Didwania, for her book, ‘’ Manifest your dreams with a Pen.’’

It just makes your day when you meet such a positive and gem of a person.

Side note - Got this gig through BNI PLUS within One month of joining. So yeah, it works :)

What an incredible leader (not a boss) someone her team truly admires. I got to witness this first hand during a recent mother's day event she had organised for her employees and their Moms. Not only the employees but even their mother's were all praise for Diana's loving, fun, calming nature and a chill vibe at work.

Her positive aura definitely transcended throughout the room.

As a person behind the camera, we get to meet and witness such amazing personalities each day that we try to inculcate in our attitude & character as much as we can.
