New York, but through Sakshi & Rohan’s lens. 🗽❤️

From iconic streets and familiar corners to the little moments in between, their pre-wedding shoot captured the city the way they experienced it, personal, spontaneous and full of memories.

The day took us through some of their favourite spots, unexpected pauses and plenty of moments worth holding onto. And just when we thought we had captured the perfect frame, a beautiful surprise gave us one more reason to keep the cameras rolling.

Met in college through a mutual friend, and what started with an event, a little curiosity and the feeling of "I like being around you" slowly became something much more.

For Shubhi & Akshat, love looks like choosing each other, sharing the same values, holding family close, and finding joy in the simplest moments together.

And then, in the middle of a walk through Central Park, surrounded by flowers and candles, came the question that made it forever.

It started with a suitcase at Chennai airport, a shared flight to Pune, and a conversation that came a little too easily.

Years later, Manpreet and Vignesh’s story has grown through different cities, countless memories, inside jokes, arguments, and a proposal that travelled all the way from Norway to a walk by a fjord.

Their wedding at Jehan Numa Palace felt just as personal — full of laughter, emotion, a little chaos, and the people who have been part of their journey. A celebration that felt completely, unmistakably them. 🤍

There are some wedding moments you remember with your whole heart, and for Ridhima, they are the ones that still bring everything rushing back. Hearing Ashwin sing 'Piya Ghar Aavenge' as she walked towards him at sunset, looking in the mirror and wondering if she was ready to be a bride, and then finding that confidence again when her brother held her hand - those little moments became the ones she carries with her most.

From the red lehenga she never thought she'd wear, only to realise Ashwin had always pictured her in it, to the waistcoat embroidered with eight years of their story, every detail felt deeply, unmistakably theirs. And then came the pheras, where happiness, fear, gratitude and the ache of leaving home all found their place in the same moment.

Because when Ridhima looks back at these photographs, she doesn't just see her wedding day. She remembers exactly how it felt to be there to be loved, to be chosen, to leave one chapter behind and step into a new one with Ashwin. And maybe that's what makes a photograph so powerful: years later, it can still make you feel everything all over again.

Three wins at the WeddingSutra Awards 2026, but honestly, the night was about so much more than the awards.
Catching up with friends we probably meet only a few times a year, cheering for each other like we meet every week, seeing so many amazing women celebrate their wins, and just being surrounded by people we’ve grown up in this industry with — it really does feel like one big family now.

And of course, coming home with three wins made it all a little sweeter. 🏆

A big thank you to Sanket & Parthip — our good luck charms since the very beginning of Plush Affairs. Thank you for always believing in our work and giving all of us a reason to come together and celebrate what we do.

To Team Plush — this one is ALL of ours. The photographers chasing that perfect frame, the team behind the scenes making sure everything somehow comes together, the endless edits, long days and even longer nights. There are so many people behind every image that eventually makes its way out into the world.

A wedding remembered through the little moments that meant everything.

For our Plush Bride, Chinamyi, it was the first time she and her husband locked eyes across the mandapam after choosing not to see each other until the Muhurtham. His tears, her happiness, and the quiet realisation that they were finally beginning this new chapter together — a moment she can still feel through the photographs.

Her wedding was filled with moments like these. The pride of doing her own makeup, the overwhelming gratitude she felt towards her parents, and jewellery that carried generations of love — from a set designed by her father to heirlooms passed down from her great-grandmother and late Nanamma.

And through the Sangeet, Mehendi, Haldi and wedding celebrations, what comes back first is laughter. So much of it.

If there is one photograph that holds the spirit of those three days, it is the one with her entire family gathered together, smiling and laughing at the end of it all.

Because the most beautiful part of a wedding isn't just how it looked — it's how it felt.
