Voyage of Honour
A tribute to former Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, who retired on 31st May.
Chronicle Ventures conceptualised, curated, designed and executed Voyage of Honour as an immersive legacy tunnel celebrating the life, service and values of Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi and Mrs. Shashi Tripathi.
The tunnel brought together more than 100 curated frames, archival images from his birth to his journey as CNS, handwritten notes by the Admiral, medals, maps, personal milestones, films created by us, iPad-based chapters and several meaningful touchpoints.
The thumbprint artwork was designed as an optical illusion, where the Admiral’s portrait appears within the lines of a thumbprint, symbolising identity and the imprint of service.
The Morse code wall was a tribute to his mastery in Communication and Electronic Warfare, with his life journey interpreted as a visual signal.
Mrs. Shashi Tripathi’s real paintings were also incorporated into the walls, bringing her journey of art, welfare, community and grace into the larger narrative.
Executed in just two days, Voyage of Honour was built with intense planning, careful detailing and deep respect for the story it had to honour.
Every wall had a reason. Every frame had intent. Every detail carried memory.
