FOR ALL THE SILK LOVERS
So we recently visited a silk factory in Sri Lanka. Absolutely in awe of the process. For all who think some silk is really expensive need to see it to know it.
- The silkworms are first fed for 20-24 days
- Once it turns into a cocoon
- It is then spun on the machine and is a very delicate process as the strands are extremely fine
- The silk thread is then either dyed into different colours desired or left the same and then spun on a machine which turns it into beautiful soft silk fabric.

And we then turn them into beautiful ensembles for our loving clients ❤️
