A Certification for Event Planning ??
Is it necessary to get the certificates like MBA in EM or PGDEM to start an events and wedding planning company ?

It was a question in my mind since I started to think about opening an events and wedding planning company. I surfed a lot in Internet, I didn't find any Professional certificates to begin such a company. I contacted a lot of Big Bulls in this industry, I didn't get anything regarding a mandatory professional coarse or certificate to begin an events and wedding planning company.

It's one of the biggest misconceptions that many beginners have in their mind regarding the event planning industry, that GETTING CERTIFIED is a mandatory requirement to open your career as an employee or employer in this industry.

The public generally believe that if a person is having a certificate from any international universities regarding event management, he is qualified and he can do it.
Remember guys, it's a false thought.
