Most nail damage doesn’t come from polish or product...
It comes from nail techs skipping the analysis and clients tearing up there nails.💅😉
If you want to specialize in natural nails, you need to know how to read what the nail plate is telling you. Because what you don’t catch? It’ll show up later as breakage, lifting, or a disappointed client who doesn’t rebook.
Here’s a quick breakdown of my process with a first-time client
➡️I noticed thin nail beds
➡️Rings of fire from over-filing
➡️Dry skin + cuticle neglect
➡️Nails that weren’t shaped for her lifestyle (she types all day + has 3 kids!)
That’s why I chose gel extensions as a protective layer-not just to make them look cute, but to give her natural nails space to heal under structure that makes sense.
✨The takeaway?
If you’re doing nails without a proper analysis, you’re not giving your client their best shot at healthy nails or long-term results.
