Most nail damage doesnโt come from polish or product...
It comes from nail techs skipping the analysis and clients tearing up there nails.๐
๐
If you want to specialize in natural nails, you need to know how to read what the nail plate is telling you. Because what you donโt catch? Itโll show up later as breakage, lifting, or a disappointed client who doesnโt rebook.
Hereโs a quick breakdown of my process with a first-time client
โก๏ธI noticed thin nail beds
โก๏ธRings of fire from over-filing
โก๏ธDry skin + cuticle neglect
โก๏ธNails that werenโt shaped for her lifestyle (she types all day + has 3 kids!)
Thatโs why I chose gel extensions as a protective layer-not just to make them look cute, but to give her natural nails space to heal under structure that makes sense.
โจThe takeaway?
If youโre doing nails without a proper analysis, youโre not giving your client their best shot at healthy nails or long-term results.
