Back in 1998, deep within the college corridors of IEM, a spark was struck.

MegaHertz – The Band composed Cigarette — a raw, soul-stirring piece that echoed across college festivals, social gatherings, and underground band competitions in Kolkata. It was a time when Bangla band music wasn’t just music — it was a movement. From every corner of West Bengal to the heartlands of Bangladesh, young voices found power in distortion, rebellion in melody, and identity in verses.

🎶 But Cigarette was never recorded. Never uploaded. No digital footprint. Just memories, applause, and echoes in auditoriums that have long gone silent.

Until now.

🌀 Cigarette captured the emotion of a generation — a time when picking up a habit came with guilt, irony, and strange comfort. It wasn’t just about smoking — it was about something deeper.
That first love you couldn’t let go.
That silent companion that hurt you, yet healed something within.

💔 Letting go was the message. But letting go... was hard.

🎥 After 25 years, we finally bring Cigarette to light — on World No To***co Day — not just as a song, but as a memory, a warning, and an ode to everyone who’s ever struggled with addiction, identity, or emotion.
