A beautiful acrylic painting on canvas by a renowned painter depicting the golden days of Bengal. This is put up for sale, the proceeds of which will be donated for carrying out relief work in the devastated areas of Sundarban.

A wonderful creation in paint by renowned artist Prabir Krishna Deb.

Sri Prabir Krishna Deb is one of the direct descendants of the historically renowned Sovabazar Rajbati, who sees his city of joy from a completely different perspective. He is a graduate from Indian Art College and holds keen interests in photography and fashion designing.

"Rajbati theke Rajpoth" is a painting done by him in yet another event hosted by us on the river Hooghly. He had completed his unfinished work on board of the vessel while cruising down the river with live classical music on board. His paintings brings to life the glorious times of Bengal. Sri Prabir Krishna Deb has held numerous art exhibitions in various cities of India and is regarded as one of the foremost artists of Bengal. Sri Deb has been kind enough to donate the sale proceeds for the purpose of bringing some relief to the affected people of Sundarbans. We, at Green Step, will be utilising this fund for such relief work through two trusted and known organisations who have been working throughout the year for many years in Sundarbans.

Welcome to Amadubi, a village off the beaten track in Jharkhand, blessed with an untold history of the artists, the home of the Pyatkar scroll painters. This village in Dalbhumgarh block in East Singhbhum district is home to traditional Chitrakars (Painters). It boasts of an ancient form of painting called Pyatkar. Pyatkar painting is one of the oldest forms of tribal paintings in India. The painters paint on scrolls made from leaves and barks of trees, relating the legends of the past, through a series of pictures. Pyatkar paintings are usually depicted on eco-friendly hutments with artistic borders and wall paintings too.

TRAIN DETAILS:
1) March 5th, 2020 (Thursday) - Boarding 12021 BBN Janshatabdi Express AC Chair Car. ETD Howrah 6:20am. ETA Ghatshila 9:12am (Please recheck your train timings)
2) March 7th, 2020 (Saturday) - Boarding 12872 Ispat Express AC Chair Car. ETD Ghatshila 3:19pm. ETA Howrah 6:52pm. (Please recheck your train timings)

CONVEYANCE FOR SIGHT SEEING:
1) Auto is the best mode in this terrain for local sight seeing and transfers to/from Hotel from/to station. These Autos have 2 seats one behind the other. 7 persons to sit in one Auto (one beside driver and 6 in the seats behind)
2) AC Innova Car for the day outing to Amadubi which is 25 kms away from Ghatshila.. To sit 7 persons per Car.

ACCOMMODATION:
AC Double Bed rooms with attached bath (WC) with running hot and cold water in Hotel Bibhuti Vihar of JTDC, spread across 5 acres.

FOOD PLAN:
Breakfast (on day one) to lunch (on day three). Food will be fixed menu as decided by us. Food on all days will be at Hotel Bibhuti Vihar except one lunch at Amadubi.

TOUR ITENARY:
March 5th Thursday:
1. Check in, freshen up. Have lunch and be ready to set out by 1:30pm for sight seeing of Rankini Mandir, Raj Estate river view, Rajbari, Chitrakut Hill top, House of Bibhuti Bhusan, Ratmohona, Phuldugri Hills, Burudi lake, Dharagiri Falls and library of Bibhuti Bhusan Bandyopadhyay. The entire sight seeing by Auto.
2. Evening tea and snacks on return at Hotel
3. Dinner at Hotel. Night stay at Ghatshila.

March 6th Friday:
1. Bed tea and breakfast at Hotel
2. Pick up by Car for visiting the village of Amadubi, 25 kms away from Ghatshila. Spend your time at Amadubi exploring the village and the Pyatkars. Have a look at the scrolls painted by the Chitrakars. We will take one cottage on hire for your rest and washroom. Lunch will be at the dining space in the Village Resort complex.We have plans of a tribal dance programme (subject to availability of group at additional cost)
3. Return to Hotel by evening. Evening tea and snacks at Hotel.
4. Dinner at Hotel. Night stay at Ghatshila.

March 7th Saturday:
1. Bed tea and breakfast at Hotel
2. Check out and keep your baggage at reception. Pick up by Auto for sight seeing of Galudih barrage and Siddheswari hill top. Please note that for visiting Siddheswari Hill top you are required to climb up the stairs/path to the top of the hill by walking.
3. Return to Hotel for Lunch. Leave with your baggage for Station to board the Ispat Express.

EXCLUSIONS:
1. Any usage of any other mode of transport other than what is provided
2. Any usage of mineral water in rooms
3. Any tips to anybody
4. Any additional beverages or snacks or food consumed other than what is provided in package
5. Any Entry fees, ride charges, camera charges, etc.
6. Any other charges outside the package.
7. Bonfire and Barbeque charges
