So here it is... a piece that three of us from India have created with cast members from Cyprus, and varied inputs from a number of people in both countries. Co-produced by the Buffer Fringe Performing Arts Festival and Ranan.

Sunday, 6 December 2020
6.30pm Cyprus / 10pm India

'Rivers of Memory is the first in a series of performance pieces called A Multitude of Drops, investigating the climate crisis as a complex of environmental, socio-political, economic and lifestyle issues - something that is global, yet expresses itself very locally. Each piece is devised as a conversation between the Sundarbans and the community and geographical area the piece is created with.

This iteration has been created entirely via Zoom with every obstacle imaginable - including the cast being together only for 5 days, and a cast member going into 14-day quarantine three days ago! But here it is - rough and somewhat ready. A testament to the fact that we can and must continue to make and experience art.
