This time, our team proudly secured the 1st Runner-up Trophy from 8th Savate West Bengal State Championship, a remarkable achievement that stands as a testament to the hard work and determination of all 45 players who fought valiantly throughout the competition. Each member of the team displayed an unwavering commitment to excellence, pushing their limits and demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges. Their dedication and relentless effort deserve our utmost appreciation, as it is their collective spirit and teamwork that propelled us to this significant milestone.

We are also deeply grateful to our guardians, whose encouragement and support provided the foundation for our success. Their belief in our abilities and their constant presence at our matches inspired us to perform at our best. Furthermore, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our President, Mr. Pinaki Mukherjee, and our Secretary, Debajyoti Mukherjee. Their leadership and unwavering support were crucial in guiding us through the season, ensuring that we had the resources and motivation needed to excel.

Official Update:

The upcoming 6th Savate Asian Championship'25 is scheduled to be held from February 9th to February 12th at the Talkotara Stadium in Delhi. 13 to 14 countries including Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, China Taipei, Japan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh are going to participate in this international competition. Among the 36 players from West Bengal who are going to participate in this competition, 19 players from North 24 Parganas district will also participate. There are seven players from the Barrackpore region and 12 players from the Ichapur Shyamnagar region.

A felicitation ceremony was organized by Barrackpore Crossfit Yoga Club to encourage and motivate these 19 players from Barrackpore and Ichapur-Shyamnagar region to succeed in their upcoming international competition. Mr. Arun Ghosh and Mr. Nirmal Kar, two Pradhan of Shiuli Gram Panchayat and Mohanpur Gram Panchayat graced the path of the distinguished guests to encourage the students in this felicitation program.

আগামীকাল 08/09/2023 শুক্রবার, ব্যারাকপুরের মন্মথনাথ উচ্চ বালিকা বিদ্যালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলেছে আত্মরক্ষা ও যোগাসন অভ্যাসের এক অনুশীলন শিবির। বিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ ও 'উত্তর চব্বিশ পরগনা সাভাত অ্যাসোসিয়েশন' এর যৌথ প্রচেষ্টায় Crossfit Yoga Club এর মাধ্যমে Real Life Combat ও Yoga এর উপর এই অনুশীলন শিবির অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

নারীদের জন্য আত্মরক্ষার কৌশল শেখা কেন জরুরি?

আমরা খুব বিপজ্জনক সময়ে আছি। দিনের পর দিন অপরাধ অন্যায় বেড়েই চলেছে। তার মধ্যে নারীদের সঙ্গে হওয়া অপরাধের মাত্রা ভয়াবহ। বাড়ি, কর্মস্থল, স্কুল-কলেজ সবখানে তারা প্রতিনিয়ত হেনস্তা এমনকি শারীরিক আক্রমণের শিকার হচ্ছে। এমন অবস্থা যে তারা এখন আর কোথাওই নিরাপদ না।

এই পরিস্থিতিতে নারীরা যদি নিজেদেরকে রক্ষার পদ্ধতি না জানেন তো বড় বিপদ। যেকোনো ধরনের আত্মরক্ষা এমনকি ভার্বাল আত্মরক্ষার কৌশল জানাও তাদেরকে অনেক বড় বিপদ থেকে বাঁচিয়ে আনতে পারে।

নারীদের আত্মরক্ষা ও যোগ শেখা কেন জরুরি:

#১. আত্মবিশ্বাসী করে তোলে
#২. নারীর ক্ষমতায়ণে বড় ভূমিকা রাখে
#৩. শারীরিক আক্রমণ থেকে রক্ষা করে
#৪. ডিসিপ্লিন শেখায়
#৫. যোগাসন মানসিক স্থিরতা, মন ও শরীরের উপর নিয়ন্ত্রণ, সংযম, মনোযোগ, শরীরের কমনীয়তা ও নমনীয়তা, শক্তি বৃদ্ধির সাথে সাথে, শরীরের অভ্যন্তরীণ ও বাহিরের অঙ্গ প্রত্যঙ্গ সমূহের সঠিক কার্যকারিতা ও সমন্বয় সাধনে ও নানাবিধ রোগ দূরীকরণে উল্লেখযোগ্য ভূমিকা নিয়ে থাকে।

শ্রীতানশু বিশ্বাস। ওর জন্যে অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা। অনেক প্রতিকূলতা প্রতিবন্ধকতা কাটিয়েও ওর একমাত্র ধ্যান জ্ঞান দেশের হয়ে আন্তর্জাতিক প্রতিনিধিত্ব করা। এখনও পর্যন্ত ও যেখানেই নেমেছে, হতে সোনার মেডেল নিয়ে এসে আমাদেরকেও গর্বিত করেছে। অথচ ওর Combat Life এ আসার কথাই ছিল না। ওর নিজের জেদ, একাগ্রতা, শেখার আর জেতার তীব্র বাসনা ওকে এতটা এগিয়ে নিয়ে এসেছে। এবারের রাজ্য স্তরের প্রতিযোগিতায় ও দেখিয়ে দিয়ে এসেছে কিভাবে নিখুঁত Assaut Combat খেলতে হয়।

আগামী অক্টোবর মাসে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলা জাতীয় সাভাট প্রতিযোগিতা থেকে আশা করি ও নিরাশ হয়ে ফিরবে না। এটাই যে ওর একমাত্র অক্সিজেন। শুভেচ্ছা তোমাকে। আরও এগিয়ে যাও। রাস্তা এখনও অনেক বাকি।
