It is said that in ancient times there was a great king known as ‘Rama’. During his exile period with his wife goddesses ‘Sita’ and brother ‘Laxman’ used to live in the forest. But one day a demon king when lord Rama and Laxman were not present near the Goddesses Sita, a dreadful king named as the Ravana, by forge means, took away Sita with him. This made Rama angry and in order to kill this demon, he attacked Ravana. After long battle, finally Rama killed Ravana, and the day he killed Ravana is marked as the Dussehra. From that every that day, Dussehra is being celebrated with great devotion, joy and is among the major festival in Hindu culture.
