Sasonian Cleff Music Club This is an official page for the Sasonian Cleff Music Club. Well the club already existed in the school since past years. It had been in a rudimentary state.

SASONIAN MUSIC CLUB:

The Sasonian Music Club was officially declared in the school in the year 2013. But its presence was made official followed by certain discussions, interactions and meetings with the teachers as well as the authorities. It was an actual initiative by some students, who have been taking active part in musical activities of the ISC batch of 2014, supported by students of lower

classes who had come forward for the official affirmation of the club. Now the Sasonian Music Club has opened this page to make a resolute stand in acquiring support and motivation for the members of the club. Moreover......

St. Augustine's School, besides its excellence in education, sports and dramatic has already earned accolades in the field of music. Our school has always been revered as the 'genesis' of the music in the hills. Our school has produced several musicians who have earned wide acclaims in the field of music in the national level as well as the international level. Music in SAS has just become like a prospering tradition. The dedication shown by the sasonians towards music is unfathomable. The spirit of the Sasonians for music will always be alive, forever and ever for the days to come. Hence, we have seen that it was due to these consequences which led to the formation of "SASONIAN MUSIC CLUB". This club is formed for a better future of the music in the school and give wings to those musicians who aspire to progress in music and build a strong impression for the school. We hope for a positive support towards the club and pray for its ultimate success.

Yesterday we celebrated Bhanu Jyanti in our school. There was an inter house solo singing competition.
There was a good competition between all 4 houses.
The final result was:
1st- Everest house represented by Hrishad Rai
2nd- Kanchenjunga house represented by Anmol Chettri
3rd- Matterhorn house represented by Saugat Diyali
4th- Fujiyama house represented by Srishak Gurung

Congratulations to all the houses and all the solo singing stars..

The Sasonian Cleff Music Club had its first performance today with a group song titled "But it rained" as well as a duet sung by two talented members of the club. The event was an investiture ceremony followed by the farewell of our beloved teacher Mr. Sanjay Chhetri.We wish him all the success and good health for his future!

An informal meeting was held on monday i.e. On 7th of march.
All the people who have registered with the club,the badges will be arriving soon.
All the people who wish to be with the club but have not registered yet can still join the club.

Yes!!!!
Our Page has just hit 200 likes. At this moment we feel highly accomplished n see our success to be near.
We would like to thank our supporters and members from the bottom of our heart for making this event possible.
Though we regret that the actual coordinators of the club cannot come to the school to carry out the club activities in the school. Due to which the Club may still be in a dormant state. But we expect that when the right time will arrive, we will get support from the music teachers and musicians from our school.
