INTER-BATCH POOL/BILLIARDS COMPETITION

IIPM JAIPUR

Whenever we talk something about a game which is full of interest and instills a feel of exuberance in the minds of students and where we have to apply our brains to the fullest to think what is my target and how I/we can reach the same. In a jiff if we deviate our concentration, can lead to loss of triumph for anyone either experienced or amateur.

On 21st January, 2012 Torque club of IIPM, Jaipur organized inter-batch pool competition. Students were all charged up and commoved to enter the billiards room with a sense to vie with other participants. In total there were 16 participants and out of which 4 were left in the semi-finals to carry on with the competition. Laksh Jain, Arpit Tripathy, Someshwar Gupta, Shubham Mittal were semi-finalist and we were left with only two finalists to end the fierce competition of pool. The final match between Arpit Tripathy of FW/ISBE/10-12 and Laksh Jain of FW/UGP/11-14 lasted for 13 minutes where till last minute no body was sure who will win. But as we all know that there is always one winner in each and every competition and finaly Arpit Tripathy won the title.

In the end all the participants congratulated each other for their success in the game and they left the pool room with immense gratification and appreciated the time spent together.

Rehtorix club (IIPM, Jaipur) is organising Inter-batch Spelling-Bee competition on 27th Jan 2012. A very innovative & playful way of learning and knowing different types of english words which helps to improve our diction. Industrial Visit To Parle

Parle Products has been India's largest manufacturer of biscuits and confectionery, for almost 80 years. Makers of the world's largest selling biscuit, Parle-G, and a host of other very popular brands, the Parle name symbolizes quality, nutrition and great taste. With a reach spanning even the remotest villages of India, the company has definitely come a very long way since its inception.
Many of the Parle products - biscuits or confectioneries, are market leaders in their category and have won acclaim at the Monde Selection, since 1971. With a 40% share of the total biscuit market and a 15% share of the total confectionery market in India, Parle has grown to become a multi-million dollar company. While to consumers it's a beacon of faith and trust, competitors look upon Parle as an example of marketing brilliance.

The students of IIPM/SS/PGP/11-13 batch visited the Parle Products Factory Delhi - Jaipur highway Neemrana, Distt. Alwar(Rajisthan) on 9th of December 2011. On reaching Parle, the students were greeted warmly by the staff and were taken to the auditorium followed by a half an hour presentation about the company and a brief clipping about Parle, after which they had a Q & A session with Mr. S.K. JENA. Later, the students were taken on a tour of the factory where they witnessed fresh biscuits being baked and saw why Parle is the world’s biggest biscuit manufacturing company in the world today. The students also saw “THE STEPHEN OVEN”, Asia’s largest oven, which bakes 9900 biscuits in a minute. The students were shown all seven stages of baking, starting from Raw materials to Packaging. Finally the students were given some goodies from the company which consisted of Parle G biscuits and candies.

The students got an rare apportunity to know and see the manufacturing of their favourite brands of biscuits like "PARLE-G" and enhence their knowledge as to how their popular biscuits are manufactured under most hygenic conditions by modern automatic processing machinery.

So with this small intiative by GID CLUB, IIPM Jaipur along with International Lion's Club, Jaipur. please be a part of change to ameliorate India.
