Deccan Vision 2026 Calendar Unveiled

Rangareddy: Shadnagar Deputy Commissioner of Police Sirisha Raghavendra underlined the vital role of the media as a guiding force in society, stating that journalism serves as a crucial bridge between the government and the people. She was speaking on Monday after unveiling the 2026 New Year calendar of Deccan Vision English Daily.
The calendar unveiling ceremony was held in the presence of Assistant Commissioner of Police Laxminarayana and Circle Inspector Vijay Kumar, along with Deccan Vision Rangareddy District Staff Reporter Gudupalli Sarwabhowma. The event marked the formal launch of the newspaper’s annual calendar, symbolising the beginning of a new year of journalistic commitment.
Addressing the gathering, DCP Sirisha Raghavendra said that journalists play an indispensable role in strengthening democracy by continuously bringing accurate, timely, and relevant information to the public. She emphasised that the media must function fearlessly and responsibly, presenting facts without bias and working with dedication to highlight public concerns and societal issues.
She further expressed hope that the New Year would usher in peace, progress, and happiness for all sections of society. Extending her warm New Year and Sankranti greetings, she conveyed her best wishes to the management, editorial team, staff, and readers of Deccan Vision English Daily, appreciating the newspaper’s efforts in upholding journalistic values.
On the occasion, Gudupalli Sarwabhowma, Rangareddy District Incharge of Deccan Vision, presented a New Year diary and a sweet box to the DCP as a gesture of goodwill. Several journalists and well-wishers attended the programme, making the calendar launch a cordial and memorable event.
