Hyderabad at Sonic Pluriverse: Bass Cultures, Berlin.

From the streets of Hyderabad to the global stage — Sound System Sanskriti is now screening every weekend at the Sonic Pluriverse Festival in Berlin!

Discovered at WOMEX last year, the festival team embraced our story and added it to their program — a proud moment for Indian bass culture.

Directed by Roy Dipankar, produced by Dakta Dub, the film features the sonic musical creations of Shivacult & Barasingha. The duo travelled from Budapest and Barcelona to be part of the festival and connect with Berlin’s vibrant music culture.

Massive gratitude to the Sonic Pluriverse curators for the love, energy, and recognition. This is more than a film — it’s a movement from India to the world.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life and taking it to global stages.

Who introduced Bass to the Balconies of Hyderabad?

Looking back, it’s incredible to see how we shared the love of Bass Culture with our dear Hyderabad. From the rooftops to the backyards we’ve built a movement that resonates deep.

We’ve come a long way, yet the struggle remains—creating independent spaces free from corporate influence and the pressure to push F&B onto the dancefloor.

We stand strong. Bass Sanskriti – the Original Bass Massive Collective.

The Bass Sanskriti Experience: Low End Expansion

Heavyweight Pressure: When the Monkey Sound System drops tunes, the bass punches through the chest, shaking the ground, making people skank hard and get lost in the raw energy. Dubstep, Jungle, Steppers, Rub A Dub lyrical fayah all pushed to their limits.

Deep Resonance: When the deep frequencies roll out, the vibrations enter the mind and body, pulling dancers into a hypnotic trance. Whether it’s Dub, Deep Dubstep, Roots Reggae, or Sound System Minimalism, the subs travel through space, making the crowd move not just with the beat, but with the very breath of bass.

The Balance: Bass Sanskriti is not just a party—it’s a ritual. The set flows like a ta**ra of sound, moving between high-energy explosions and deep meditative grooves. The Monkey Sound System ensures that every frequency is felt, not just heard.

From the skanking to heavy tunes to the mystics meditating in the deep bass vortex, Bass Sanskriti unites them all. This is the Sanskriti of Bass—timeless, powerful, and spiritual.
