This is the last I heard about our NIRBHAYA Case, and I AGREE to the court's decision. Im not sure how long we have to wait to hear a verdict on this. The only good factor I see that came out of all this fight is ..Ladies show more courage to report these issues!
Nirbhaya rape accused denied bail to write DU exam.
Vinay sought interim bail for a month to appear for BA (Programme) exams to be held by School of Open Learning.
Stating that it has "no jurisdiction", a trial court on Wednesday refused to hear the interim bail plea of Vinay Sharma, one of the accused in the Nirbhaya case, for appearing in an examination.
Additional sessions judge Dharmesh Sharma said, "On perusal of record, I find that the main proceedings are pending before the special designated court/fast track court at Saket courts complex and therefore, this court has no jurisdiction to hear/consider the application moved."
