What happens when we stop separating Black music by genre and start looking at the connections between it?
That’s the thinking behind Black Radio — bringing hip hop, house, broken beat, soul, jazz, Afro rhythms and electronic music together through the people, the music and the dancefloor.
Inspired by Robert Glasper’s Black Radio, I’m Soul Into You x Raphael Presents: Black Radio brings Pete BBE, Raphael, AVS and Omotosho together for a night of musical exploration, deeper selections and unexpected connections.
We’ve gone deeper into the story behind Black Radio.

BLACK RADIO — REQUEST LINE 🎙️

This time, DJ Eshe steps up with a serious groove: “Remind Me” by Patrice Rushen.

A timeless fusion of funk, soul and boogie, “Remind Me” is the kind of record that captures the sophistication and warmth of Black dance music — effortlessly melodic, deeply grooving, and still sounding fresh decades later.

One record. One story. One shared frequency.

What’s your Black Radio pick?
