We, at TEDxSouthPointSchoolGuwahati believe that every person, no matter how big or small, can contribute in achieving a Eutopian society. And with this note, we are here with our final speaker for TEDxSouthPointSchoolGuwahati.

Sagarika Deka, the 18 year old founder of "Maan Ki Umeed" () has been working on many organisations and has led some of them as well. She's great when it comes to maintaining records and keeping things in track. She's a leader, a feminist and a very systematic person. She strongly believes in women empowerment and actively talks about their rights through her slam poetry and other initiatives. She initiated her own organisation "Maan Ki Umeed" to help the slum-dwellers and others in need. She won the coveted title of Kids for Change Maker in 2020 and has initiated the first chapter in Northeast under the Period Movement and Girl up campaign.

Moving forward with our speaker reveals, we proudly present to you our fourth speaker for TEDxSouthPointSchoolGuwahati.

Featured in the Forbes 2021 list of India’s 30 brightest young achievers, Priyanka Das Rajkakati has always lived a dual personality, with two, seemingly contradictory, sides fused into one – a dynamic and expressive artist, and a reserved, logic-oriented scientist. Having participated in several space projects, such as the Caltech Space Challenge, organized by the California Institute of Technology in collaboration with scientists from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Priyanka found a context for her work in mixing Art and Science. Her work currently involves experimentation with mixed-media art techniques and visual representation of data. She has also illustrated for magazine covers, articles and contributed designs for communication-related activities.

There are multiple high points in Rajkakati’s career as a space scientist, one being selected to submit her art work to be part of an international Moon Gallery project that aims to send art to the Moon via a Lunar lander mission. She is all set to send her artwork to the Moon in a compact form by 2022. She was one of the 75 women across the globe to be selected for the fifth edition of “Homeward Bound”, a global initiative that conducts leadership expeditions for women in science to Antarctica.

While Rajkakati’s academic track record is outstanding, she is also actively involved in STEM and art outreach activities: as ambassador of the L’Oreal-UNESCO Girls in Science initiative, as member of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), as expert to the IAF Technical Committee on the Cultural Utilisation of Space (ITACCUS) and through collaborations with the EuroMoonMars initiative.

Our next speaker, Rahul Hazarika, is an entrepreneur from a small town of Tinsukia. He started a mere social media page that turned out to be OSK Food and Technology Pvt. Ltd, the million dollar valuation start up and North-east India’s first cloud kitchen company. Driven by his passion for food and beverages, Rahul began his company as a response to the frustration of getting stuck in traffic just to grab a burger or waiting long queues to get a table. In 2017, he was recognized as one of the Top 10 Under-30 entrepreneurs of North East India. Today, OSK Food and Technology clocks an average of 150–180 orders a day. This journey is no less than a Walter Mitty story.

Moving on from Bhargsetu Sharma, we are proud to reveal our second speaker for TEDxSouthPointSchoolGuwahati.

Winner of the Night Sky Award at the prestigious ILPOTY 2020, Himadri Bhuyan () has been in the field of photography since 1998. He did his double masters in Geography and Environmental Planning and held different jobs in INGO's, NGO's and the govt. sector. Though he started off with a regular job, photography and creative arts constantly occupied his heart and mind. What started off as a hobby, transformed into a profession in 2013 when he finally answered his calling.

With a deep interest in travel and nature photography, he specialises in landscapes, portraits, abstracts and wildlife as a passion and weddings, concerts, cultural festivals, product shoots and time-lapse as a profession.
Even though he doesn't keep a track of his achievements, he considers his publications in Nat Geo Your Shot and National Geographic Magazine, including the book "Getting Your Shot" published by National Geographic as the high point in his photographic journey.

Apart from being the Nikon School mentor for North East India, he is an educator in the same field and conducts workshops and photo tours, including leading treks and excursions throughout NE India. Being brought up in a city, he seldom misses an opportunity of going “Out of Range”.
