The butterfly effect is real.
A dream, a bold step, a belief that the impossible can be made possible.
Back in 2019, we dared to dream—and successfully introduced Paragliding as a discipline in the 3rd State Olympic Games of Arunachal Pradesh. What once felt like a distant vision has now taken flight.
And today, in 2026, we celebrate another historic milestone: Paragliding has officially been included in the North East Games.
This is not just the inclusion of a sport. This is the recognition of years of effort, belief, persistence, and the passion of countless people working behind the scenes.
Special gratitude to Vijay Sonam, President of the Paragliding Association of Arunachal, who believed not only in me, but in the future of this sport. Progress happens when vision meets trust.
North East is shining brighter than ever—where mountains inspire courage, dreams take flight, and a new era of adventure sports leadership is rising for the nation to witness.
There are a thousand ways to do things the wrong way, but there is only one correct way.
Achievements like this remind us of an important truth: the right work needs the right people, the right team, and the courage to keep pushing forward even when the path is uncertain.
This is a giant leap for paragliding in the North East, for Indian adventure sports, and for every young pilot who now gets to dream bigger.
The sky was never the limit—it was only the beginning.
