Hats off to the Guy who wrote this :

Waha ki DHUP bhi achi lagti thi
Yaha ki AC me bhi aaram nahi hai

Waha GHAAS pe baithna bhi acha lagta tha
Yaha CHAIRS pe bhi chain nahi hai

Waha ke SAMOSHE bhi swadisht the
Yaha ke BURGER me bhi swad nahi hai

Waha ki CHAI bhi meethi lagti thi
Yaha ki CAPACHINO me bhi mithas nahi hai

Wo BLUE UNIFORM aur JEANS me ek confidence tha
Aaj FORMAL me bhi comfort nahi hai

Wo BLACK SHOES me jo baat tha
Woh aaj ADIDDAS aur NIKE me nahi hai

SCHOOL/COLLEGE BUS ki aakhri seat pe baith ke Gaaye hue Gaano ki jaise ab Dhun bhi yaad nahi hai
Ab bas saamne ek Computer Screen hai aur hasne layak koi mazak nahi hai

Faculty se ladte waqt ye pata bhi nahi tha ki Manager ke samne kuch bol bhi nahi paenge
Ab to ye bhi nahi pata hota ki hum wapas Ghar kab jaenge

Ek Jhuthi Muskurahat liye hum jaise jee rahe hai
Zindagi ka koi bhi Ghum ho Office ke kaam ke saath p*e rahe hai

? Subah ka ek Message: “Aaj nahi chalte yaar”
Ab: “Its 9.30 where are u??” me badal gaya hai

Pehle j**s hasti ko lagbhag pura School/College janta tha
Aaj wo ek CUBICAL me simat ke reh gaya hai

Pehle ek dusre ki party me jaise bill badhane jate the
Aaj ki Partiyo me thodi si Khusiya paane jate hai

Pehle Best Friend B’day pe cake na laye to gussa ho jate the
Aaj to Best Friend se B’day pe mil bhi nahi pate hai

Woh School/College group ki ladaiya jo agle din hi bhul jaate the
Aaj Manager aur Subordinate ki jung me tabdeel ho gayi hai

Exam hall ki “ek line bata de yaar”
Wo ek line ab Google pe bhi nahi mil rahi hai

Pehle jinhe ghanto baith ke hasate the
Aaj unse jee bhar ke baat karne ka bhi time nahi hai

Pehle jinse mile bina din nhi kat.ta tha
Aj unke bina zindagi kat rahi hai

Wo Mid-Sem me ek shabd bhi na likhne ki azadi
Aaj jaise badi badi Excel sheet update karne ki majburi me tabdeel ho gayi hai

“Tune kitna padha plz mujhe bhi padha de yaar” yaha koi nahi sunta
“I have done my work please review it” hi hamari favorite line ban gayi hai

Dil kehta saari bandishe tod ke wapas chala jaau….
Ek baar fir apne school / college me wapas laut jaau..!

Yuvraj Singh celebrated his comeback in cricket with a breathtaking 123 off 89 deliveries which helped India A power to 312 for four in the 42-over rain-curtailed encounter against West Indies A at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Sunday.

A late-order blitzkrieg from Yusuf — 70 off 32 deliveries (four boundaries and six sixes) helped India A score in excess of 300.

What a comeback this was from Yuvraj. Consider this: His first 20 runs came off 37 deliveries and he didn’t hit a single boundaries. Yuvraj bided his time. He was short of match practice but at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Yuvraj was a man on a mission. He looked determined to get his eye in, looking for the singles. When he decided to break free nothing was going to stop him.

Yuvraj started his aggression courtesy of a no-ball from Miguel Cummins off the first ball of the mandatory powerplay over. Off the freehit Yuvraj pulled off a Babe Ruth and smashed him baseball style for a six over long-on. From there on it was absolute carnage.

Berserk hitting followed: Yuvraj smashed Nikita Miller for 23 runs. The short ball was dismissed over square-leg, a tossed up delivery followed — it was hit over the bowler’s head for a flat boundary. A fulltoss had “hit-me” written all over it. It was promptly dispatched over mid-wicket for a six. The next one was hit with disdain flat over mid-wicket for a six and Miller was confounded.

Yusuf Pathan took over from there. He had off-spinner Ashley Nurse under immense pressure. Yusuf was hell bent on hitting big shots. Long-on, mid-wicket and square-leg you name the area and Yusuf was hitting the ball over there. Twenty-eight runs came off that over. Ronsford Beaton was the next to suffer. Yuvraj hit him over long-off for a six to bring his 18th List A career. A couple of boundaries followed, a six over bowler’s head was a shot of pristine beauty. Twenty-four runs came off the over. India A had scored 85 from overs 35 to 38. West Indies A fielders were just going through the motions.

Yuvraj hit eight boundaries and seven sixes in his comeback innings. When the innings ended on his 89th delivery for 123 — the masterly exhibition had come to an end. West Indies A were relieved to see him go back but they appreciated the knock displaying the sporting spirit.

Yusuf brought his 16th List A half-century off 27 deliveries and imagine he played second fiddle to Yuvraj at one point.

Earlier, Mandeep Singh scored 67 off 78 deliveries and setup a solid foundation for India A after West Indies A had won the toss and decided to bowl at the overcast conditions. Unmukt Chand was dismissed for one off Cummins. He tried to cut the ball but it was a half-hearted slash. Robin Uthappa looked in fine touch. He tried to pull Andre Russell from outside off-stump. The mish*t was held at square-leg.

By the end of 28 overs India A were 130 for two. The game was in the balance. What followed took the game completely away from the visitors. Yuvraj and Yusuf were responsible for the assault.

Brief scores:

India A 312 for 4 in 42 overs (Yuvraj Singh 123, Yusuf Pathan 70*) vs West Indies A.

The Champions League T20 2013 will be held in India from September 17 to October 6 and there will be no team from England in the tournament. The West Indian champions, who had to play Qualifiers in the last two editions, will feature in the main draw.

The schedule, announced on Friday, has ten teams split in two groups, with the top two in each group making the semi-finals. Eight teams have been seeded directly into the main competition and will be joined by two of the four qualifiers.

One of those qualifiers is the Pakistan side Faisalabad Wolves, who recently won the Faysal Bank Super Eight T20 Cup; their participation in the tournament will be interesting given the fragile diplomatic and sporting ties between India and Pakistan.

Trinidad & Tobago find a place in the main draw, after sustained public pressure following strong performances in previous seasons. They had finished runners-up in the inaugural edition in 2009, but had to play the qualifying round in 2011 and 2012.

The ECB's announcement that no teams from England will take part in this year's competition has opened up slots for other domestic teams.

Group A: IPL 1st ranked team (India), Highveld Lions (South Africa), Perth Scorchers (Australia), IPL 3rd ranked team (India), Q1 (Qualifier)

Group B: IPL 2nd ranked team (India), Titans (South Africa), Brisbane Heat (Australia), Trinidad & Tobago (West Indies), Q2 (Qualifier)

Qualifier: IPL 4th ranked team (India), Otago Volts (New Zealand), Sri Lanka qualifier, Faisalabad Wolves (Pakistan)

In 2006, the ICC selected Pakistan to host the 2008 ICC Champions Trophy.

On the 24th of August 2008 it was announced that the 2008 ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan has been postponed to October 2009 as several countries were reluctant to visit Pakistan for security reasons. However due to the crowded international schedule around that date, and concerns about whether the security situation would have changed by that time, there was widespread skepticism whether it would actually take place in 2009.[3]

On the 16th of March 2009, an announcement was made that the ICC has recommended that the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy be moved from Pakistan to The Republic of South Africa.[4]

On April 2, 2009, Cricket South Africa confirmed that it will host the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy from September 24 to October 5.

The Board accepted recommendations from the ICC that Liberty Life Wanderers (Johannesburg) and Supersport Park (Centurion) be the host venues.

The details of SA’s hosting of the Champions Trophy were ironed out at a meeting between CSA’s CEO Gerald Majola and ICC General Manager – Commercial, Campbell Jamieson.

Majola confirmed that the six warm-up games will be played at Benoni’s Willowmoore Park, and Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.[5]

Australia beat England by 9 wickets in the 1st semi-final, and New Zealand beat Pakistan by 5 wickets in the 2nd semi-final, to set up a final that saw Australia beat New Zealand by 6 wickets, in 45.2 overs.
